Haas
LaVern and Beverly Haas will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 13 with a family dinner in Minot. A vacation/celebration is planned with extended family for February 2010 in Florida. Beverly Scott and LaVern Haas were married Nov. 13, 1959, in First Presbyterian Church in Minot. Their children are Laurie Anderson, Jupiter, Fla., and Sheldon Haas, Sioux Falls, S.D. They also have four grandchildren. LaVern owns and operates Minot Motor Marine and U-Haul in Minot. Beverly taught at the Campus Lab School/Minot State University for 32 years until her retirement.
