Farmers Union bus trip for women set in October

The North Dakota Farmers Union bus trip for women will be Oct. 8-10 to Minneapolis. Attractions and tours include the “Church Basement Women” play sequel which opened in April, Creative Memories, St John’s Benedictine Abby Church, The Pillar B&B, Sinclair Lewis Interpretive Center, Cold Spring Brewery and the Albertville Outlet Mall. The bus will leave Ray Oct. 8 at 7:30 a.m., stop in Stanley at the Cenex at 8:15 a.m., in Minot at the Cenex by Kmart at 9:20 a.m. and for a late lunch at the North Dakota Farmers Union state office in Jamestown. The bus will return Oct. 10 and be back to Ray by 7 p.m. The registration fee for the trip covers transportation, two nights’ lodging (double occupancy), attractions and two lunches. The registration deadline for the trip is Sept. 15. A current North Dakota Farmers Union membership is needed. The bus will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
